Peterson
began his commercial career assisting fashion photographers in New
York, experience which led to 18 years in Salt Lake City as a photographer
for ZCMI, shooting newspaper ads and catalogs. Architecture and design
have always been major influences in his life, a passion he converts
to images by capturing buildings and environments as more than structures
or places, but as portraits - through both classic and inventive techniques. |
| Bob
King, aka FoodKing, has written about Utah restaurants for
Citysearch, the Salt Lake Observer, Salt Lake magazine and The Event,
and he is the head of the Slow Food Salt Lake Convivium. Growing up
in an ethnic New York neighborhood taught him about flavor, while
he learned the discourse of fine food reading misleading menus at
Vassar. His day job is in administration and American Studies with
Utah State University Extension. Friends say he smokes a mean ham
and hosts one of the city's best plebeian wine tastings. |
